چکیده
Introduction: The decline in functional capacity (FC) interferes with the independence of older adults, so it is important to assess FC and use appropriate instruments for this. Objective: To investigate Glittre Activities Daily Living (ADL) test’s validity reliability assessing adults. Methods: Cross-sectional study a sample 100 elderly (68 ± 5.16 years). convergent validity, Six-Minute Walk Test (6MWT) Timed Up Go (TUG) were performed. intra-examiner test-retest Glittre-ADL test was performed on same day 30-minute interval between repetitions inter-examiner an seven days. Results: There strong correlation 6MWT (r= -0.75; p<0.001) TUG (r=0.77; p<0.001). excellent (ICC)=0.91 95% CI=0.14-0.97; p<0.001 ICC=0.91; CI: 0.86-0.94; p<0.001, respectively). Conclusion: demonstrated that valid its adequate

Evaluation of the Glittre-ADL test as an instrument for classifying functional capacity of individuals with cardiovascular diseases
BACKGROUND The assessment of functional capacity in individuals with cardiovascular disease is closely related to lower limb function. The Glittre-ADL test is a global test to evaluate this patients. OBJECTIVE We aimed to verify whether the Glittre-ADL test discriminates functional status while evaluating individuals with cardiovascular disease. METHODS A total of 42 participants were evalu...
متن کاملconstruction and validation of the translation teacher competency test and the scale of students’ perceptions of translation teachers
the major purpose of this study was to develop the translation teacher competency test (ttct) and examine its construct and predictive validity. the present study was conducted in two phases: a qualitative phase as well as a quantitative phase. in the first phase of the study, the author attempted to find out the major areas of competency required for an academic translation teacher. the second...
Physiological responses to the Glittre-ADL test in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
OBJECTIVE The aim of this study was to investigate the physiological responses induced by the Glittre-ADL test (TGlittre) test in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and compare them with those induced by the 6-minute walk test (6MWT). DESIGN Cross-sectional observational study. SUBJECTS Eighteen patients with COPD 66 years (standard deviation (SD) 8) and forced expir...
متن کاملthe effect of functional/notional approach on the proficiency level of efl learners and its evaluation through functional test
in fact, this study focused on the following questions: 1. is there any difference between the effect of functional/notional approach and the structural approaches to language teaching on the proficiency test of efl learners? 2. can a rather innovative language test referred to as "functional test" ge devised so so to measure the proficiency test of efl learners, and thus be as much reliable an...
15 صفحه اولThe Glittre-ADL test reflects functional performance measured by physical activities of daily living in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
Background The Glittre-ADL test (TGlittre) is a valid and reliable test for the evaluation of functional capacity and involves multiple physical activities of daily living (PADL), which are known to be troublesome to patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). However, it is still unknown if this test is also able to reflect the functional performance of patients with COPD. Obje...
